Hey people! I'm Maranda. I do silly animal paintings and I'm writing a SF post-apocalyptic series, The Altered Sequence, hopefully soon to be published. (Chapter Excerpt)

I post mainly artistic and writing inspirations here, serving as a database for inspiring images so I don't have to save them on my hard drive, derp.
You'll find lots of survivalism stuff, abandoned structures, character art, fantasy art, and other things that strike my muse's fancy.
I used to post other silly things but now I am FOCUS INCARNATE.

Long story short, my life is crazy right now. I have to trim excess activities to put more time into what I love, like my writing and animals. So, please understand when I say I need to take a break from Tumblr. For a while.

I’ll try to get on periodically and check messages, but don’t expect replies terribly quickly.

“Jonestown was the informal name for the Peoples Temple Agricultural Project, an intentional community in northwestern Guyana formed by the Peoples Temple led by Jim Jones. It became internationally notorious when, on November 18, 1978, 918 people died in the settlement as well as in a nearby airstrip and in Georgetown, Guyana’s capital. The name of the settlement became synonymous with the incidents at those locations.
A total of 909 Temple members died in Jonestown, all but two from apparent cyanide poisoning, in an event termed “revolutionary suicide” by Jones and some members on an audio tape of the event and in prior discussions.”
